About me

I have illustrated over 20 children's picture books, most recently adding to a therapeutic series written by Dr Karen Treisman and published by Jessica Kingsley Publishers that falls under the Hachette publishing umbrella.

I work closely with authors and publishers to create charming, vibrant, children centred illustrations that convey characters full of expression and fun. I hand draw all my illustrations then digitally colour them.

I not only illustrate books, but have created bespoke illustrations for display boards, leaflets, front covers, websites and work sheets.

I was an infant teacher for 15 years, which made me passionate about children's literature and I now see myself as expert on putting on voices when reading aloud. This skill has been reinforced by having three children and reading stories every night!

I gained a first class degree for Theatre Design at Nottingham University.
